A very good vintage Mid c French Louis XV style commode chest of drawers. A profusely decorated chest with marquetry scrolling floral inlay to both sides , front and very unusually to the top surface as well . Of large proportions this has two copious drawers and as such a very useful addition to any room in the house. This piece has a lovely fluid shape with curves to all sides, topped with a nicely molded and shaped top panel , adorned with scrolling metalwork, of particular note are the front corners with single piece decorations from top to the foot, a central decorated shaped apron completes this stunning piece of furniture!
