Simply stunning two tier side table by one of the greats, JAS Shoolbred. Possibly an exhibition piece, the workshop craftsmen have tried to include as many exotic woods and technically difficult techniques as possible, all within the confines of this petite and delicate side table. Fully numbered and stamped on the underside, a truly remarkable and rare piece!
Condition Report:
For such a delicate table it has remained remarkably intact, crucially no breakages to legs. Notable are a small section of Satinwood and Ebony strung inlay on the small undertier has been replaced along with a couple of very small beading sections around top of legs. Top as expected is faded compared to the undertier
